She was born on July 24, 1969. She is also called Jlo. She is a singer, actress, dancer, fashion designer, author, and producer. She is from the Bronx, New York. She is Puerto Rican, American. Her parents are Guadalupe Rodriguez and David Lopez. She also has two sisters.5

In 1986 she was cast in her first film called My Little Girl. It was then that she knew she wanted to be a star.
